Frequently Asked Questions

How often are toilets serviced?

Standard service is weekly and includes pumping waste, cleaning the unit interior and exterior, and restocking supplies. More frequent service is available for high-traffic sites.

How many toilets do I need?

Our rule of thumb for construction sites is 1 toilet per 10 workers. WorkSafeBC doesn't set a fixed ratio, but it does require clean, accessible washrooms for your crew. For events, plan for 1 per 50-100 guests depending on duration and whether alcohol is served.

What's the difference between orange and pink toilets?

Functionally they're identical. Orange is standard for construction sites. Pink is popular for events, breast cancer awareness campaigns, or anywhere you want the unit to stand out.
